Role Overview
As the Head Chef, you will be at the helm of our culinary team, responsible for designing menus, leading kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will play a crucial role in ensuring every dish served reflects our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design seasonal menus that highlight innovative and fusion dishes.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food prep, and service.
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, ensuring a positive and efficient working environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients that meet our restaurant’s standards.
- Monitor food presentation and quality, maintaining consistency across dishes.
- Manage kitchen budget, including food cost and labor, while identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Engage with diners to enhance their culinary experience and receive feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and global cuisine.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Compensation
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional perks include health benefits, paid time off, and discounts on dining.
