The Role and Responsibilities

As a PAT Tester, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Portable Appliance Testing on various electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Identifying and documenting any electrical faults or safety issues identified during testing.
• Providing detailed reports and certificates upon completion of testing.
• Educating clients on electrical safety and the importance of PAT testing.
• Maintaining testing equipment and ensuring all tools are calibrated and ready for use.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, we require applicants to meet the following qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 2377 or equivalent in PAT testing.
• Proven experience in PAT testing or electrical maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites.
