Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a pivotal role in our product development lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring that our software solutions meet the highest quality standards before they reach our users. This is a quality assurance remote job that offers flexibility while delivering great impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and customer support, to identify and resolve issues.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance testing on our products and tools.
- Document defects and track them through resolution, while ensuring that they are explicitly communicated to stakeholders.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficient in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
