Role Overview

As a Remote Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that our daily operations run smoothly, from procurement to logistics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance workflow processes is essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
• Forecast demand for products and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or surpluses.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Monitor industry trends and competition to inform strategy.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on supply chain performance.
• Utilize software tools to streamline supply chain operations and improve efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
