Role Overview

The Swimming Trainer will be responsible for developing and implementing swim lessons, leading swim practices, and fostering a positive and motivating environment for all participants. You will work closely with swimmers ranging from beginners to advanced levels, with the goal of improving their skills and encouraging a passion for the sport.

Key Responsibilities

Design, plan, and conduct swimming lessons for various age groups and abilities.
Assess individual swimmer skills and create personalized training plans.
Monitor swimmer progress and provide constructive feedback.
Promote safety and ensure all safety protocols are followed during lessons.
Organize and facilitate swimming clinics, workshops, and events.
Build rapport with swimmers and their families, creating a positive learning environment.
Encourage participation in swimming competitions and events.
Collaborate with other trainers and staff to enhance the overall member experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Swimming Trainer job will possess the following qualifications:

Current Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification.
Swim instructor certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA).
Previous experience as a swimming instructor or trainer preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to motivate others.
